Coral Glow

"I wanted Mila Kunis to look fresh and effortless," said Lancome makeup artist Tracey Levy, who worked with the star at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills. A hint of coral eye shadow, a sweep of coral blush along the star's cheekbones, and a wash of coral lipstick gave Kunis a tonal glow. "The makeup's coral tones contrasted perfectly with her emerald gown," said Levy.

Red Lipstick

At the 2011 InStyle and Warner Brothers Golden Globes After Party in Beverly Hills, Malin Akerman chose to accent her siren red gown with precise crimson lipstick. The reason the pairing doesn't look too matchy matchy? Akerman kept the makeup on the rest of her face clean, save for a dusting of gold bronze shadow along her top and bottom lashlines. The shadow added a glint of light and prevented the lipstick from being too severe.

Voluminous Updo

At the 2011 Golden Globes Awards in Beverly Hills, Scarlett Johansson's hairstylist Robert Vetica, who works with Moroccanoil, made the very most of her chin-length waves. "Her dress was a subtle enough color that I didn't want to pin all her hair back, but it was too ornate for me to leave it down," he explained. The solution? Curling all her hair in small, ringlet curls before brushing them out and swooping them back. "The curls gave her short hair tons of volume. I held it all back and to the left with a gorgeous vintage barrette," he said. The stylist finished with a blast of shimmery, light hold hairspray.
